The togue weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and was 34 1/2" long and was caught May 26. He was using 6lb test and it took 20 minutes to land the beauty. He was fishing with Stan Wood who took the picture. The old record has stood since 1961. It took a half hour to land this monster and two guys to get it out of the hole! The fish weighed in at 31lbs on a registered UPS scale and was 41" long. The fly fishing has been good up the river lately if you can match the hatch. A large party that has been coming here for years just left us today and they reported excellent fishing on the lake. A lot of Brook Trout were caught and released as well as Salmon and Togue. One of their boats in the party had a phenomenal day, catching 31 fish! Wow! Congratulations guys!
