Mid June report
- The bugs are out so be sure to bring your bug spray if you are going to be making any excursions in the great outdoors!
The flyfishing has been good up the river lately if you can match the hatch.
A large party that has been coming here for years just left us today and they reported excellent fishing on the lake. Alot of Brook Trout were caught and released as well as Salmon and Togue. One of their boats in the party had a phenomenal day, catching 31 fish! Wow! Congratulations guys!
I have been putting out trail cameras for a few years now and I will try to keep the Photo Gallery updated with new pics on a monthly basis.

Moosehead Record Togue
- Bill Maynard Jr. caught himself the new Moosehead Lake record Lake Trout on March 10. The old record has stood since 1961. It took a half hour to land the monster and two guys to get it out of the hole! The fish weighed in at 31lbs on a registered UPS scale and was 41" long. It will be mounted and on display here at our lodge sometime soon!
