Being right on the Moose River there is dock space available for your boat, we also have boat rentals along with other watercraft. A vast lawn with plenty of space for families to play and take in the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. When night falls on the ridge on a clear night you can see every star in the sky. It is the perfect setting for star gazing and searching for constellations. The air here is filled with nothing but the sounds of nature and happy people enjoying the day. We offer Maine cabin rentals in the Moosehead Lake region. Maynard's sits on the Moose River with just a short 10 minute boat ride to Moosehead Lake. With our own personal docks it is easy to tie up your own boat during your stay, we even have boats for rent. After a long day of fishing on the Moose River or Moosehead Lake you can bring your catch of the day back to the cabin for dinner. Even if you are dining with us in our dining room we can fry up your catch for you upon request.
